Be aware that the blacktop will get hot under your dog’s feet as the weather gets warmer! Place the back of your hand on the blacktop for 5-7 seconds to ensure it is not too hot for your puppy. It is too hot for your dog to walk on if you cannot keep your hand there the entire time. This trick will help prevent blistering and burning on your dog’s paw pads. Happy Walking!
