Welcome to Paws & Poise, a dynamic training program that takes your dog’s skills to the next level. Building upon the foundation established in our Fido Foundations course, Paws & Poise focuses on refining obedience cues, boosting confidence, and enhancing your dog’s ability to thrive in various real-world settings. This course is designed to elevate your dog’s training experience by introducing more challenging scenarios and fine-tuning their responses to training and environmental cues.

Course Details:

  • Open to dogs of all ages who have completed Fido Foundations, Release The Beast, or equivalent training.
  • Duration: 4 weeks
  • Cost: $200/course

Key Learning Objectives:

  1. Strengthen your dog’s response to advanced obedience cues.
  2. Enhance your dog’s ability to handle challenges and distractions.
  3. Foster effective communication and positive interactions with other dogs.
  4. Refine your dog’s leash walking skills, ensuring a poised and controlled walk.
  5. Build your dog’s confidence in navigating various real-world scenarios.
  6. Engage in interactive learning with other dog owners, promoting socialization and shared experiences.

Course Overview:

Throughout the Paws and Poise course, you and your dog will engage in interactive training sessions that build upon each other. Under the guidance of our experienced trainers, you’ll delve into advanced obedience cues, further solidifying your dog’s understanding of cues like MIDDLE, BEHIND, Emergency Recall, and HEEL. Emphasis will also be placed on mastering the Three D’s: DISTANCE, DURATION, and DISTRACTION.
