Anne Baldwin

Junior Dog Trainer

Anne grew up always wanting a dog, so as soon as she was able she dove in the deep end and fostered rescue dogs for 2 years, finding great homes for over 15 dogs. She eventually adopted Bear, a shy Chow Chow who introduced Anne to dog training. Anne worked with Good Dog Dyno’s own Lydia Rakov on Bear’s fear and reactivity, and continued to work with Lydia on her next generation of dogs, Ullie and Riley. She enjoyed working with Lydia and dogs so much that after 12 years in healthcare software, Anne started pivoting her career towards dogs: first by boarding, dog walking, and apprenticing under Lydia for 6 months, and then by joining the team as a Junior Trainer!

Anne is thrilled to use and share her dog training knowledge as she continues to learn more. She loves teaching tricks, agility, and solidifying fundamentals, and she’s especially passionate about empowering owners to navigate behavior challenges like fearfulness, resource guarding, and reactivity so that dogs can stay in their forever homes… forever! She looks forward to building lasting relationships with dogs and their parents in her lessons and classes because she believes dog training is a lifelong practice, not just a step along the dog ownership road.

Anne is originally from New Mexico and lives in Denver with her partner Dan, two dogs and two cats, and when she’s not dog training, Anne enjoys hiking, traveling, software programming, woodworking, gardening and serving on the board of the KGSA Foundation to empower women in Kenya through education.
